As the world around us appears exceedingly eager to devolve into a realm of mindless anger, violence, and the rage of man against man, the responsibility for shaping our future as a species may fall on those who choose to put pen to paper. How we sculpt that future remains to be determined. However, history has shown that the responsibility for fashioning our way ahead often lies with the lowly scribes whose pens help to influence that course.
