How to Be Confident and Humble When People Underestimate Your Intelligence
Being smart is highly appreciated and looked up to in our world. We usually link being smart with achieving great things, getting respect, and being liked by others. But not all people see or value how smart we are. At times, we might meet folks who don’t think we’re as smart as we are on purpose or without meaning to. They might not believe in what we can do, challenge what we think, overlook what we give, or not care about what we’ve accomplished. This kind of behavior from them can make us feel inferior, insecure, or frustrated.
How can we deal with people who underestimate our intelligence? How can we be confident and humble at the same time? Here are some tips and suggestions:
